Joshan and Paykan missile launcher cruisers were dispatched to Azerbaijan to attend the 7th SeaCup competition.

Deputy Navy Commander for training affairs Admiral Faramarz Nasri� stated participation in such events is aimed at developing diplomacy through reinforcing defense power.

He added that increasing communication, improving strength, and combat readiness are among the achievements of such programs.

He noted that Iran would host the event next year.

He invited the participants to cooperate and maintain empathy, saying that empathy is the key to victory and that the slightest weakness in communication will bring about failure.

Iranian commander went on to say that the Iranian cruisers would stay in Azerbaijan for 21 days.
