The Iranian national U17 men�s freestyle team ended its work in 2022 Italy U17 World Wrestling Championship with a gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze medals, ranking the 4th in the world.

In the world youth matches held on July 29-31 in Rome, Italy, at the end the 60kg weight Ebrahim Elahi won the gold medal, the 51kg weight Mohammad-Reza Assadi and 80kg weight Reza Soleimanian got silver medals, and the 48kg weight Arshia Haddadi and 92kg weight Erfan Alizadeh got bronze medals.

In team rankings, the USA team gained 190 points ranking first, India with its 126 points ranked second, Azerbaijan with 122 points ranked 3rd and Iran with its 117 points ranked 4th.
