�Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Saturday urged the necessity for close and constructive relations between Iran and Bangladesh.

The president made the remarks in a massage to his Bangladeshi counterpart Mohammad Abdul Hamid on the occasion of the country�s National Day.

Also in a separate message to Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wazed, the Iranian president expressed hope that bilateral relations between Iran and Bangladesh would further increase in the light of efforts made by the top officials of the two countries.
