Iran�s national junior fencing team finished runner-up at the 2022 Asian Juniors and Cadets Fencing Championships in Uzbekistan.

The Iranian team stood second in the saber fencing category in the competitions.

Nima Aqaei,�Sam Zolqadri,�Mobin Razavi�and�Amir-Mohammad Shafiei�played for Iran�s national team coached by Mojtaba Abedini and Masoud Fathi.

Iran�s junior saber fencing team was defeated by Uzbekistan�s team in the final stage and received the silver medal.

In the meantime,�Aqaei�grabbed the first bronze medal after 21 years for Iran in the singles in the saber category.
