Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian reaffirmed Tehran�s push for the settlement of regional problems through dialogue and political solutions.

The top Iranian diplomat on Saturday held a meeting with Oman's deputy foreign minister for diplomatic affairs, Sheikh Khalifa al-Harthy, who is in Tehran to participate in a session of the Joint Strategic Consultation Committee.

Describing the improvement and expansion of relations with neighbors as a priority in the foreign policy of Iran, Amirabdollahian emphasized the significance of Oman's special position among the neighbors.
