Iran hopes Tunisia to pass current critical phase soon: FM Spox

Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said on Tuesday that Iran hopes that Tunisia will get through this critical phase through talk as quickly as possible.

In reaction to the recent developments in Tunisia, Khatibzadeh said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is closely following the current developments and events in Tunisia.

Calling on all sides to keep patience and maintain empathy, he stressed the necessity of the talks between all groups and institutions of the country to pass through the current tension in Tunisia and realize the ambitions of the Tunisian revolutionary nation.

Stating that the Islamic Republic of Iran helps Tunisia to get through this stage, Khatibzadeh termed the establishment of stability in the political and security fields in Tunisia necessary and expressed hope that Tunisia would get through this critical phase via dialogue as quickly as possible.
