MNA � Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei attended the mourning ceremony for martyrdom of Imam Zayn al-Abidin, the fourth Shia Imam, at the Husseiniyeh of Imam Khomeini on Monday morning.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the ceremony at Husseiniyeh of Imam Khomeini was held without the presence of any Iranian official or the public.

Strict health guidelines are in place across the country so that people could participate at Muharram mourning ceremonies.
