Iran, Russia hold talks on JCPOA

IRNA – Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov on Saturday exchanged views on the recent developments concerning the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, aka JCPOA, and the UNSC Resolution 2231.

During the meeting, the Iranian official hailed Russia for its rational stances towards the JCPOA, the Resolution, and opposition to the unlawful measures of the United States.

The Russian official, for his part, termed the US’ act in adopting trigger snapback mechanism as illegal, calling for bolstering its diplomatic relations with Iran.
