France’s meddling in Iran’s lawsuits illegal: Spox

IRNA – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Abbas Mousavi said on Wednesday that the meddling of France in Iran’s lawsuits is illegal, adding Iran will not accept any interference in its internal affairs.

In reaction to the recent move of France regarding two Iranian criminals, the top diplomat added that the judiciary officials in Iran are competent to hear and issue verdicts on the crimes of Iranians in a fair trial considering the civil rights in the country.

Fariba Adelkhah and Ruhollah Zam have been convicted due to committing the crimes and are serving their sentences, he further noted.
