Tasnim � Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif will go to a parliamentary commission meeting on Wednesday to brief the lawmakers on the latest developments in Syria and Iraq.

The spokesman for the Iranian Parliament�s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission told Tasnim that Zarif will be taking part in a session of the commission tomorrow.

Hossein Naqavi Hosseini said participants in the meeting are going to discuss the most recent developments relating to the foreign policy.

�Moreover, the latest regional developments are planned to be discussed in the meeting, with priority given to Iraq and Syria,� he noted.

Zarif has held telephone conversations with foreign diplomats and heads of the international organizations in recent days to talk about a range of issues, from the peace process in Afghanistan to the collective action in the fight against coronavirus.
