Financial Tribune - A total of 128.13 million tons of commodities were loaded and unloaded at Iran�s 21 commercial ports during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2019-Feb. 19) to register a 1.19% rise compared with the corresponding period of last year.

Latest figures published on the Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran�s website show non-oil goods accounted for close to 87.66 million tons of the total throughput, showing a 0.95% year-on-year growth.

The remaining 40.47 million tons pertained to oil products, indicating a 1.68% increase YOY.

Container loading and unloading declined by 38.66% to stand at 1.22 million TEUs.
