Mehran trade-passenger border suspended by Iraqi side

MNA By the decision of Iraqi Wasit Governorate, activity in Mehran-Zarbatieh Border was suspended for a period of two weeks, effective as of Feb. 28.

According to a letter received to Mehran Customs Office, the Iraqi government suspended trade and passenger activity in Irans Mehran and Iraqs Zarbatieh Border.

This proposal has been given by the president of Iraqs Zarbatieh Customs to Wasit Governorate.

Over the past week, Mehran Border was closed due to some problems in Iraqs Customs and resulted in a suspension of more than a thousand trade and commercial trucks.
