Tehran stocks edge up

Financial Tribune  – The Tehran Stock Exchange climbed 0.39% Sunday with its main gauge, TEDPIX, gaining 1,776.24 points to end trading session at 454,618.5.

Commodity stocks were the key drivers of the Sunday’s rally as shares of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, the biggest TSE listed company, alone contributed more than 1,000 points to the benchmark.

About 6.01 billion shares valued at 40.66 trillion rials ($301.18 million) changed hands at TSE for the day.
