Iran to crush aggressors, IRGC chief warns

Tasnim – Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami warned the enemies that they will be KO’d and crushed in case of taking any act of aggression against Iran.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran’s Armed Forces will defeat any enemy and KO and crush it in case of the smallest aggression,” Major General Salami told reporters on Thursday.

Iran has sent the enemies to the “graveyard of their dreams”, the commander said, adding that the IRGC has prevented the adversaries from reaching their objectives and saved Iran from hostile plots.

The general also stressed that the US, the Israeli regime, Saudi Arabia and the UK are not the only enemies of Iran, calling for concerted action to combat poverty and underdevelopment across the country.

Iran is making progress despite the tough sanctions, Salami said, adding that the Islamic Republic has outstripped the wealthy states in the construction of power plants, oil refineries and dams.

Iranian military and political officials have repeatedly warned the enemies against the dire consequences of a military strike.

In comments in April 2018, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said the US is aware of the crushing response it will have to face in case of taking military action against Iran.

The era of hit and run is now over, and the US knows that if it gets entangled in military action against Iran, it will receive much harsher blows, Ayatollah Khamenei underlined.

The US is seeking a way to evade the costs of standing against Iran and place them on regional countries, the Leader said, reminding certain regional countries that if they confront Iran, “they will definitely suffer blows and defeat”.
