The prayers will be conducted upon the sight of the crescent of Shawwal month in Tehran’s Musalla (prayers ground), organizers of Eid al-Fitr prayers said.

The religious ritual will be held at 8:30 am local time.

Eid al-Fitr, one of the most important festivities in Islam, is the first day of Shawwal month. It marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan during which Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset.
