IRNA — Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani said on Thursday that despite of existing problems and sanctions, Iran is to keep baking resistance groups, especially those in Palestine.
Quds Day initiated by the late founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini is the day of Islam and day of taking advantage of capacities of the Islamic world for liberating Palestine from Zionists and day of Islamic resistance to renew allegiance in order to continue fighting until liberation of the Holy Quds and establishment of a single Palestinian government across the occupied territories of Palestine, he said via a video conference at the International Forum in Support of Palestine Intifada in Gaza.
“Victory of the Islamic Revolution instilled the hope and self-reliance in the world’s oppressed people that if a nation is determined and follow a divine leader, it can attain the most unachievable objectives against the most armed regimes in the world empty-handed,” he said.
“Zionist regime which claimed to have the right to possess all lands between ‘ the Nile to the Euphrates’ is now in a state of weakness and contempt and on the verge of collapse,” he said, noting that the regime which defeated biggest Arab armies in several classic wars and expand its realm of control suffered defeat for the first time against the Islamic resistance.
The issue of Palestine is not the issue of Palestine, Arab and Islam; rather it is a humanitarian issue, Shamkhani said, stressing the need for the international community to counter the child-killing regime.
The cycle of betrayal that some Arab and Islamic states have committed over the past seven centuries against the issue of Palestine has now entered into a new phase named ‘Deal of the Century’, the official said.
Efforts to hold Manama Conference and certain measures for normalizing ties with the Zionist regime are all within the framework of the disgraceful plot of the deal of the century, which will be defeated by the Palestinian nation, he said.
International Forum in Support of Palestine Intifada was held in Gaza with the motto of ‘No to Deal of the Century’ on the eve of World Quds Day.
