IRNA – An exhibit of tourism capacities and attractions of Asian countries, including Iran, kicked off Saturday on the sidelines of Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations in Beijing, China.
The three-day Asian Culture and Tourism Exhibition is hosted by China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism in Beijing to introduce cultural and tourism attractions of Asian countries.
Iran has organized an exclusive exhibit in an area of 36 square meters to introduce the Iranian handicraft and tourism attractions, Hossein Khalifi, Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization told IRNA in Shanghai.
Holding exhibitions and cultural weeks on the sidelines of the conference to present intangible cultural heritage of the countries, tourism, cinema, gastronomy, music and other features of Asian civilizations has helped the nations to get more interested in getting to know each other.
Iran was also one of the 47 countries that attended the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations.
The theme of the conference was international exchanges and mutual learning among Asian civilizations and a community with a shared future.
