IRNA � President Hassan Rouhani on Tuesday promised the government assistance to those listed by the national charity organizations.

Addressing an Iftar ceremony attended by families under Imam Khomeini Relief Committee and State Welfare Organization of Iran on the first day of the fasting month of Ramadhan, he congratulated arrival of the holy month and said that he is pleased to take part in the gathering of the proudful children in the two institutes.

Stressing the necessity for spreading umbrella of the charity organizations, he said that under current conditions, many families may have lost their financial capability and have been driven to be listed by the charity organizations.

Rouhani called for accurate monitoring and policymaking to administer issues about problems of the poor families, saying that under current conditions, those suffering from poverty should be supported.

Elsewhere in his speech, the president emphasized the need to bolster national solidarity in the face of US conspiracy against Iranian nation.
�It is patience and solidarity that can guarantee us against all types of plots,� he said, noting that if the enemies see solidarity and unity among the people, they will fail to achieve their objectives.
