Iran says is ready for global anti-terrorism cooperation

IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif condemned on Wednesday recent terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka, stressing that Tehran is ready for anti-terrorism cooperation.

Zarif denounced Sri Lankan explosions in a meeting with the country’s Foreign Minister Tilak Janak Marapana in Doha on Wednesday.

“Terrorism is an international menace and Iran is ready to cooperate to eradicate this problem,” Zarif added.

More than 250 people were killed in a series of terrorist bombings on Easter Sunday, which targeted churches and hotels within minutes of each other.
