Iran’s exports to Azerbaijan increases

IRNA – Iranian envoy to the Republic of Azerbaijan said on Sunday that Iran’s export to the country has increased by 73% in 2018 compared to its previous year.

‘This situation should go on because it is a good for export and absorbing foreign currency into Iran,’ said Javad Jahangiri in the ceremony to open the second phase of the Bilesavar border point, Ardebil province, northwestern Iran.

Saying that the foundation of trades between Iran and Azerbaijan is not strong enough and needs attention, he added that it is possible to tenfold the trade up to five billion dollars.

He also said that from among the four customs point at the border of Iran and Azerbaijan Republic, three became 24-hour.
