Sweden, Norway, Austria condemn Zahedan terrorist incident

IRNA Ambassadors of Sweden, Norway and Austria in Tehran on Wednesday condemned Wednesday terrorist attack on a bus, in which a number of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) personnel were killed or injured.

Austrian Ambassador to Iran Stefan Scholz in a message condemned that terrorist attack in Sistan-Balouchestan Province, which resulted in martyrdom of more than 27.

While voicing sympathy with the bereaved families of the victims, the ambassador wished health for the injured.

Swedish Ambassador to Tehran Helena Sangeland also tweeted that the suicide attack in southeastern province of Sistan-Balouchestan showed that no country is immune of repeated savage acts caused by extremism and violence.

She referred to the group of Jaish al-Adl, which has undertaken the responsibility for the attack, and also to large number of the martyrs and the injured in the incident.

Also, Norwegian Ambassador to Tehran Lars Nordrum tweeted that he had received the dreadful news on the cowardly attack in Iran border region, this time in Sistan-Balouchestan.

He expressed sympathy with the familyies friends of those affected by the incident and the mournful people of Iran on the incident.

Public Relations Department of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Headquarters in a statement late on Wednesday said 27 were killed and 13 wounded in the Khash-Zahedan Road terror attack on Wednesday.

The statement added a bus carrying IRGC border guards who were on their way home after the end of a mission was targeted on Khash-Zahedan Road by a suicide bomber.
