CEO revolving door doing well at SAIPA

Financial Tribune - Over the past decade seven CEOs have come and gone at SAIPA. While the average time in office for a CEO was two to three years, the revolving door is now in full-speed mode with the last boss being ousted in less than four months

W hen it comes to higher-ups and top jobs SAIPAs revolving door keeps on turning at unusual speed. On Sunday, Mohammad Reza Soroush was removed from his post as CEO barely after four months in the job and was replaced by Mirjavad Soleimani.

Nothing much has been said or written about the new boss at the countrys second largest carmaker save for the fact that he was a middle-ranking manager at Iran Khodro, the countrys largest auto company and archrival of SAIPA.

The state-owned auto company, SAIPA, or officials at the Industries Ministry have not said a word why Soroush was shown the door and on what premise Soleimani was got the visibly sensitive job.
