China calls for full implementation of Iran nuclear deal

IRNA Chinese Foreign Ministry on Friday urged all sides of Iranian nuclear deal to be bound to their obligations.

All sides of the Iran's nuclear deal, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), should be bound to their obligations enshrined in the deal and do their best to save it, China's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lu Kang told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

He made the remarks while answering a question on the US claims on Iran's satellite launch.

The Chinese official urged all sides of the Iranian nuclear deal to resolve their issues through dialogue.

He urged also full implementation of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2231, endorsing the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the nuclear program of Iran.

Lu Kang said that implementation of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2231 is necessary for preserving Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and establishment of peace and stability in the Middle East.

The US has always been opposed to Iran's scientific progress and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has warned Iran on Thursday against launching three satellites into space in the coming months.
