Zarif derides US addiction to withdrawal from int’l deals

IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in a message ridiculed US administration’s addiction to withdrawal from international agreements.

‘After #JCPOA, #NAFTA, #TPP, Climate Convention & …, the Trump regime—along with the Israeli regime—today officially withdrew from #UNESCO,’ Zarif Tweeted on Tuesday night.

‘Is anything left for the Trump Administration and its client regime to withdraw from? Perhaps from planet Earth altogether?,’ he added.

US President Trump announced on May 8, 2018 the withdrawal from the JCPOA, which was condemned by other parties to the 2015 agreement and their emphasis to stay in the landmark international deal.

According to Qatari media, the US administration together with the Israeli regime have officially pulled out of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

The decision had been made more than a year ago.

Earlier Iranian Foreign Minister in a message criticized the US for its continuous addiction to sanctions, saying “US addiction to sanctions is out of control. Iranian private bank key to food/medicine import is designated because of alleged EIGHT degrees of separation w/ another arbitrary target. In comparison, all humans on planet are connected by SIX degrees of separation. You do the math.’
