VP: Iran’s start-up activities in region unparalleled

IRNA – Iran’s Vice President for Science and Technology said that the activities of the start-ups in Iran were unparalleled and was growing and making progress.

Speaking on Monday evening on the sidelines of the trip to Mashad, Sorena Sattari added, ‘Start-up activities are often in the field of nanoscience, biotechnology and stem cells and we are also progressing tremendously in the IT field.’

‘Some of the works started from the beginning of the government were knowledge-based economy, one of its major areas is virtual space,’ he said.

Sattari noted, ‘Our start-up in the IT field is also the biggest start-up in the region, which is a science-driven movement that strengthens the country, which needs to be strengthened.’
