Spox dismisses claim on violating Christians’ rights in Iran

IRNA – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman rejected allegations as regard violation of Christians’ rights in Iran.

Bahram Qasemi made the remarks on Monday addressing a press conference answering a question on the US, Canada anti-Iran resolution that claimed minorities’ rights are being violated in Iran.

What is claimed as regard minorities in Iran is the result of absolute ignorance, misunderstanding, bigotry and monkeyshine promoted by some countries whose stance are clear toward Iran.

The best defend has always been made against these measures and allegations by followers of these religions, Qasemi said.

Minorities will be able to freely live and perform their religious rituals, he said, adding that they have some facilities which make others surprised.
