IRNA � President Trump's strategy is to create chaos in Iran and strengthen its hegemony in the world and is following the policy of turning Iran into the main enemy of the international community, an expert in international affairs said.

Addressing a conference in Tehran on barriers and challenges of peace and constructive interaction in Iran-US relations, Mehdi Motaharnia said the former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger had designed this policy.

The strategy of this policy is adding to the ambiguity and complexity of the situation, he said.

This strategy is aimed at restricting Iran and eventually bringing down the government in Tehran, he noted.

Elaborating on the future of relations between Iran and the United States, Motaharnia said both countries have to either start a war or hold effective negotiations to solve their problems.
