SHANA - Iran�s Zagros Petrochemical Company (ZPC) obtained the certification of Germany�s DQS Audit Company for establishing an energy management system based on ISO 50001 standards.

According to ZPC, auditors from DQS on December 17 and 18 conducted inspections on various units and offices of the company to test their compatibility with ISO 50001: 2011 energy management system and awarded ZPC with the international certificate.

The CEO of ZPC, Mohammad Reza Mirahmadi, said more heed should be given to the propositions by staff members of plants and the related concerns be treated as priorities.

He said his company was planning to obtain ISO 50001:2018 certificate in the future.
