Iran, Saudi Arabia sign MoU on next year major Hajj

IRNA – The Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for sending Iranian pilgrims to major Hajj ritual ceremony in Saudi Arabia.

Head of Iran’s Hajj Pilgrimage Organization Alireza Rashidian is in Saudi Arabia at the official invitation of his Saudi counterpart.

Talks between the two sides on next year major Hajj ritual ceremony were held last year leading to the current visit between the two sides heads of Hajj organizations.

Head of Iran’s Hajj and Pilgrimage organization and his entourage left Tehran for Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
