Iran, Iraq hold joint economic forum

IRNA – Iran and Iraq held a joint economic forum in the Iraq’s southern province of Basra.

120 businessman and entrepreneurs as well as 34 companies from Iran have participated at Iran-Iraq joint economic forum.

The Iranian Ambassador to Iraq Iraj Masjedi said on the sidelines of the event that the two countries enjoy good potential for improvement of their economic cooperation.

In the meantime, Basra Governer Asaad Al Eidani stressed the importance of improvement of cooperation with the neighboring countries, in particular Iran.
