IRNA - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister in his meeting with the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasized widening of cooperation between the two countries in all fields, particularly international organizations, calling it necessary.

Sergei Ryabkov met with Mehdi Sanaei and exchanged views on cooperation between the two countries on Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), international and regional issues.

The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister with a reference to the European efforts to develop the financial mechanism with Iran noted, �The implementation of the European financial mechanism for trade with Iran is essential and Russia has supported the initiative.�

Mehdi Sanaei also stressed the preservation and development of existing cooperation and the creation of new fields of cooperation.
