New vision for investing in Iranian start-up ecosystem

IRNA – Iran’s Vice–President for Science and Technology said that there is a new insight into country for investment in the ecosystem and knowledge-based companies.

In signing ceremony of the investment contract of Mobile Telecommunications Company of Iran with a knowledge-based company, Sorena Sattari asserted, ‘A major problem in the start-up ecosystem is the lack of venture capital investments. start-ups when grow, need venture capital and attract foreign investors if we neglect them.’

Pointing out that the foreign investor is also very important in its kind and is not considered a problem, Sattari affirmed, ‘If great companies like Mobile Telecommunications Company of Iran and other Iranian companies in the field come to the conclusion that they have to invest in their start-up ecosystems to achieve a better future and get away from the traditional investment approach, there will be a big deal, as the investment will be Iranian.
