MNA � Commander of Iranian Navy Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi said Iran's navy has extended its reach in recent years, launching a number of domestic equipment to defend the territorial integrity of Iran's waters and the national interests of our country at sea.

Khanzadi made the remarks on the sidelines of Iranian Navy's exhibition on the latest naval technological achievements and developments on Saturday.

He noted that the exhibition is indicator of the maturity, capability and self-sufficiency of the Navy's Army.

"These capabilities indicate that the Revolutionary generation does not have any fear of the threat posed by the enemies," he added.

Iran has developed a large domestic arms industry in the face of international sanctions and embargoes that have barred it from importing many weapons.
