Veep: Iran getting firmer in fight against terrorism

IRNA – First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri says the terrorist measures, which are designed and adopted by enemies to divide the Iranian nation, are doomed to failure, making the Islamic Republic of Iran firmer in its resolve to fight terrorism.

Jahangiri made the remarks following the terrorist suicide attack on a police headquarters in Chabahar in southeastern Iranian province of Sistan-Balouchestan on Thursday, which martyred two and injured 40 others.

Jahangiri regretted the terrorist incident and extended condolences on martyrdom of two police forces, while asking governor general and all the police and security forces to do their best to counter perpetrators of such terrorist incident.

He wished divine ascendance for the martyrs and patience for their bereaved families, while wishing speedy recovery for the injured.
