Iran’s police chief warns of enemies’ attempts to destabilize region

FNA – Iranian Police Chief Brigadier General Hossein Ashtari warned that the world arrogant powers are hatching different plots to foment insecurity in the region and promote Islamophobia in the world.

In relevant remarks in June, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani blasted the US and its regional allies for fueling insecurity and instability in the region, and said that the Muslim countries should resist Washington’s bullying.

“The US, the Zionist regime and certain regional countries have leading role in major crises in the region,” Shamkhani said in a meeting with National Security Advisor to the Iraqi Prime Minister Faleh al-Fayad.

He underlined that some countries that think they could ensure their own security and stability of the region by putting their trust in the United States are practically bolstering terrorism, and said, “The White House leaders do not even hesitate to shamelessly attack Iraqi and Syrian armed forces in order to support terrorism.
