While reviewing last year’s performance in each of the aforementioned areas, the two sides agreed on how to advance future plans.

Highlighting the strategic importance of Iran nuclear deal in international and regional peace and security, Araghchi reiterated Iran’s compliance with the deal and adherence to its commitments.

He also pointed to the need to accelerate effective, durable and mutual implementation of the commitments by other signatories to the deal following U.S. withdrawal from the agreement.

He noted any delay in meeting the commitments will pose a serious challenge to the important achievement and will make Iran to decide based on its own independence and interests.
