IRNA � Iranian foreign minister on Friday conferred with the UN Syria envoy on issues of mutual interest.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif and the United Nations Syria Envoy Staffan de Mistura in their meeting in the Italian capital, Rome, discussed latest Syria developments.

Resolution of Syria crisis through diplomacy, compilation of the country's constitution, dispatch of humanitarian relief aid and reconstruction of the war-torn region were the topics discussed during the meeting between Zarif and de Mistura.
