IRNA - The disclosure of Saudi dissident critic Jamal Khashoggi's killing documents hit the prestige of Al-Saud in public opinion, said Turkish analyst for the Middle East issues Mustafa Torkosh.

The professor of political science and international relations at Ankara University, in an interview with Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), described the negative effects of the murder of Khashoggi on regional cooperation of Riyadh with Washington as serious, saying that in addition to the long-term effects on Riyadh's relations with Washington and Europe, it can undermine the balance of power in the detriment of the US regional allies in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Egypt.

He assessed the crime not a typical event, but the beginning of new developments in the region, saying that Khashoggi murder documents speaks of many facts behind the crime.

The professor at the University of Middle East in Ankara added that the release of the documents did not leave any way-out for the murderers of the tragic incident unless that the supporters of Al- Saud so far had covered the case.
