FNA - The 13th edition of Auto Parts International Fair kicked off in Tehran on Monday with more than 190 foreign and 510 Iranian companies showcasing their latest achievements.

Opened in Tehran International Permanent Fairground, the four-day event is scheduled to come to an end on November 15.

Speaking to Iranian local media, Managing Director of Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) Mohammad Khazraei Ghahramani referred to the presence of about 700 companies at the auto event, highlighting that the US sanctions have been of no effect.

Turkey, China, Taiwan, South Korea and India are among the countries whose companies are staging their achievements in group pavilion, he added.

The event is aimed at paving the way for attracting foreign investments, introducing domestic companies' achievements, developing industrial exchanges between Iranian and foreign companies, finding new export markets and transferring knowledge, technology and experiences.
