IRNA - The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has verbally condoled the people of Lorestan Province and the bereaved family of Iranian police officer Noor-Khoda Mousavi-Mofrad, who succumbed to his injuries received in campaign against the terrorist group of Abdolmalek Rigi in the Lar region of Sistan and Baluchestan Province in 2008.

Addressing the martyr's funeral ceremony on Thursday, Br. Gen. Hussein Ashtari, Chief of the Iranian Police, said that in a telephone call from the Office of the Supreme Leader, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution had called on him to convey in the funeral ceremony his greetings to the people of Lorestan and express condolences to the martyr's family.

The terrorist group of Abdolmalek Rigi Mousavi-Mofrad had shot the police officer at the head in the Lar region of Sistan and Baluchestan Province on 2008. Since then he has been in coma.

Being 100% war disabled, the martyred police officer spent 10 years in a coma until he died on the night of the demise of the great Prophet of Islam Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) and the martyrdom of Imam Hasan (AS), the second Imam of Shiias.

Speaker of Parliament Ali Larijani had on Thursday extended similar message of condolence on the occasion.
