Irans seven-month revenues up by 20%


MNA Head of Irans Management and Planning Organization (MPO) Mohammad-Bagher Nobakht said that country revenues in the seven-month period of the current year (March 21 Oct. 21) experienced a considerable 20 percent growth as compared to the same period of last year.







Appropriation of credits for development projects in the first half of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21 Sept. 21) increased up to twofold as compared to the last years corresponding period, he said, adding, statistics show that resources and revenues of the country hit more than 20 percent growth in the seven-month period.

Turning to the situation of appropriation of resources and credits in 2018 Budget Bill, he said, although the resources predicted in the Budget Bill have not thus far been materialized, all resources have experienced a considerable growth in the seven-month period as compared to the same period of last year.

Despite sanctions imposed on the country, revenues and resources of the country increased more than 20 percent, he reiterated.

Another part of economy is related to the foreign currency and monetary policies and in this respect, effective steps have been taken in order to materialize most economic objectives of the country before the termination of the current year (to end March 20, 2019), Nobakht emphasized.
