IRNA � The large-scale sanctions against Iran show the dictatorship and expansionist nature of US, Iranian ambassador to the UK said.

They undermine the most obvious rights of other nations, even their allies' by breaching all international principles and regulations, Hamid Baeidinejad tweeted on Tuesday.

Suppressing nations is the sheer and the most dangerous kind of expansionism and autocracy, he added.

Unlike what it seems, autocracy and expansionism show weakness and are doomed to failure, he noted.

The UK prime minister's official spokesperson expressed regret over reimposition of sanctions against Iran, Baeidinejad said.

We support developing trade relations with Iran and encourage UK companies to take full advantage of trade opportunities, Baeidinejad quoted the British spokesman as saying.

After Washington's May 8 exit from the historic Iran Deal, the US gave 90- and 180-day wind-down periods to other countries before it starts re-imposing oil sanctions on Tehran on November 4.

Part of the US' illegitimate sanctions were imposed on Iran on August 9.

On Monday, Trump reinstated the US nuclear sanctions on Iran and imposed as he claimed �the highest level� of economic bans on the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This is while other signatories of Iran Deal condemned US measure to withdraw from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
