Iran, Brazil discuss developing cooperation

IRNA – Iranian envoy to Brazil Ali Saqaian in a meeting with Brazilian Minister of Sports Leandro Cruz Fróes da Silva and Minister of Tourism Vinicius Lummertz reviewed ways to promote cooperation.

In the meeting, Lummertz praised Iran history, culture and civilization.

He also emphasized Brazilian Tourism Ministry’s readiness for getting acquainted with Iranian and Brazilian activists in tourism in Brasilia or São Paulo.
Iranian culture and civilization are attractive for Brazilian people, he said, adding that Iran has valuable handicrafts.

In his meeting with Fróes da Silva, Saqaian discussed developing cooperation in sports.

Establishing sports school and football academies by a Brazilian club in Arvand Free Zone Organization and Fróes da Silva trip to Iran were among other topics reviewed by both sides.

Brazilian minister expressed interest in maintaining cooperation with Iran in football, wrestling and weightlifting.
