IRNA - Some 908,833 tons of minerals, worth of $15 million, were exported from Iran's southern province of Hormozgan during the first six months of the Iranian current year (beginning from March 21), an official from Iran's Industries, Mines and Trade Organization said on Tuesday.

In an interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Ebrahim Sa'dini said the minerals mostly included gypsum, gypsum powder, gypsum plaster, cement, and micronized powders.

The minerals have been exported to the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bangladesh and Africa.
