IRNA - Iranian National Team snatched one more gold and silver medal at 2018 Asian Rowing Championships which is underway in Uzbekistan.

According to Iran's Canoeing, Rowing and Sailing Federation, Arezoo Hakimi, who had earlier managed to grab two gold medals in women's kayak single and kayak double, took the top spot in women's 500m this morning.

Also, Elnaz Shafieiyan bagged a gold medal in 500m kayak single and Atena Raoofi snatched the second place medal in women's 500m canoe single.

In men's 500m canoe single Mohammad Nabi Rezaei, in 500m kayak single Pouria Sharifi, in 500m kayak single Iliya Nadernejad and in 500m canoe single Erfan Zende Pey ranked fourth.

Maedeh Shoorgashti ranked fifth in women's 500m canoe single.

During the first two days of the games, Iran's �U23 and junior rowers won five gold, four silver and six bronze medals.

Iran's Paracanoe team was crowned champion by grabbing six gold and two silver medals.
