Military official: No one agrees to negotiation on Iran missile program

IRNA Nobody agrees to negotiate Iran missile power, Spokesman of the Iranian Armed Forces said.

Anybody who talks about negotiating missile program is ill-informed, enemy or traitor, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi said in an exclusive interview with Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

Missile is one of the most fundamental tools for defense power, he said, adding that no Iranian official is for the US' demand to stop manufacturing missiles.

Elaborating on Iran advisory presence in regional countries, Shekarchi said Iran's advisory presence in Syria is by Syrian government's demand.

Enemy wants the conflict area to be farther from Israel, he said, adding that they are after maintaining insecurity in Iran.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he referred to kidnapping of Iranian border guards.

It seems that the terrorist act is an inside job; he said adding that investigations should become finalized.

Economic war is the last choice adopted by enemies against Iran, said the official.

Referring to the fact that enemies are taking advantage of media to reach their goals, he urged officials to take this war seriously.

If we want to compare our position with other countries as regards power, we are on top, Shekarchi said.

Enemy is using Iran missiles as a pretext for disarming the country, he said, adding that whenever they are afraid of direct fighting they create a scenario for disarmament.

Shekarchi went on to say that enemies are aimed at first disarming the country and second pretending to support people for bringing accidents more destructive than what happened in Libya, Afghanistan, etc.

Iran will not use its missiles unless an aggressor takes any measure against the country, he said.

This is while, the US is using weapons in line with aggression and expansionism, he added.

He went on to say that, Iran has never intervened in sovereignty of Yemen, Syria and Iraq and Iran presence is upon their request.
