Achieving JCPOA was unimaginable: Envoy

IRNA – Iranian Ambassador in London Hamid Baeidinejad described as unimaginable achieving Iran nuclear deal also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

JCPOA is the result of two and a half years of attempt, Baeidinejad said, addressing the Oxford Union on Tuesday evening.

Let’s compare Iran deal with Trump agreement with North Korea which is just a two-page document, he added.

He wondered how US wants to sanction UNSC permanent members for their commitment to its resolutions.

It is against international regulations, he reiterated.

Iran has never entered a proxy war with Saudi Arabia, Baeedinejad said, adding that Tehran just helped Damascus legal government to fight against Daesh.

Unlike US, Iran entered Syria with invitation and permission, he noted.
