IRNA � President Hassan Rouhani will visit travel to New York to take part in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in late September, said the Head of Iran presidential office on Wednesday.

'Like the previous years, some visits have been scheduled with heads of other countries and a speech at the UN for the president,' said Mahmoud Vaezi.

'The trip would be the fastest and least expensive way for us to exchange views about bilateral and international issues with the heads of other countries.'

He also denied the rumors about the meeting between the Iranian and American presidents.
