Iran will never collapse, says former diplomat

IRNA – Former Iranian chief nuclear negotiator and Princeton University Professor in a message denigrated US President Donald Trump’s illusionary allegations against Iran, saying Iran will never collapse.

The #US illusion on #Iran continues.@realDonaldTrump said “When I came into here, it was a question of when would they take over the Middle East, now it’s a question of will they survive,” Hossein Mousavian tweeted on Friday.

“Both are just illusions. #Iran neither will collapse nor is after dominating the region,” he added.

After Washington’s May 8 exit from the historic Iran Deal formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the US gave 90 to 180 wind-down period to other countries before it starts re-imposing oil sanctions on Tehran on November 4.

Part of the US illegitimate sanctions were imposed on Iran on August 9.

Trump also said he would reinstate the US nuclear sanctions on Iran and impose “the highest level” of economic bans on the Islamic Republic.
