Kuwait offers condolences over Iran
IRNA - Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah on Sunday extended condolences over the earthquake in western Iran that claimed two lives and injured scores of people.

In his message to Iran's President Hassan Rouhani, according to the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA, the Emir wished a quick recovery for the wounded, hoping Iranian officials will overcome the consequences of the natural disaster.

A magnitude 5.9 quake that rocked Tazeh Abad, Kermanshah Province, at 2:43 am local time Sunday claimed two lives and injured 90 others.

The quake has been followed so far by more than 65 aftershocks.

Deputy Emir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar messages to the Iranian President, KUNA reported.
